Polyurethane Processors was established on 1st December 1984 as a small enterprise which has grown into a significant Western Australian Family Owned and Managed Business, supplying high quality products to a diverse client base including Mining, Manufacturers of Mining, Agricultural, Transport Equipment and Major Engineering Companies. We also manufacture superior quality after-market pump components.
We employ a skilled and dedicated staff with many years of extensive experience in the industry.
Family members are directly involved in Management & Production enabling us to offer up-to the minute expert advice and quotations. We also have technical backup from our material suppliers who are World Leaders in Urethane Technology.
Our high ethics and fair dealing are integral to our philosophy. A strong team spirit exists within our stable workforce with respect and consideration for health and safety. We are also conscious of the need to protect the environment, taking all precautions not to pollute our surroundings.
Polyurethane Processors support local suppliers and small business wherever possible. We use locally produced components in preference to imported products.
With a variety of equipment installed in our machine shop, we can manufacture, repair or finish components to client’s requirements.
Aluminium castings are machined prior to application of Urethane in the manufacture of our after-market pump components.
Large wheels up to 1400mm can be machined in house.
Conveyor Pulleys up to 1070mm diameter x 2350mm wide plus small diameter pulleys and rollers up to 3000mm wide can also be machined in house.
Polyurethane Processors Hydro-Knife Ultra High Pressure Water Stripping equipment can achieve pressures up to 2500 bar (36,000 psi) for removing worn urethane or rubber linings and coatings making refurbishing of worn components highly feasible.
We also have our own sandblasting facility which allows us higher control over critical times between blasting and priming of substrates.
Other self-developed procedures ensure maximum cleanliness of substrates prior to and after blasting.
